QAU Wants Rangers to Deal with Violent Students
When a violent altercation broke out between two student governments on campus on Monday, Azam University (QAU) has asked for the deployment of Rangers in response to the situation. The officials at the institution have written a letter to the Ministry of the Interior requesting prompt action to be taken in order to restore order and safeguard the safety of students, teachers, and staff. According to reports, a fight broke out between student councils representing the Pashtun and Baloch ethnic groups at the institution, which resulted in the injuries of a number of students and substantial damage to academic property.
