The FIA raided an illegal educational institution in Islamabad

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Islamabad has begun legal processes against Adnan Rasheed, who was detained in E-11 on Monday for operating an illegal educational institution. Rasheed was arrested for his role in the operation of the institution.

According to a spokesperson for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the accused was putting the prospects of the next generation at risk by establishing an unlicensed organization with the name "Technical Board and Training Council Islamabad" and by issuing fake nursing and engineering diplomas and degree certificates.

The official with the FIA claimed that the accused was involved in a well-planned scheme involving multiple printing presses. In addition, the organization was distributing receipts for weapons that had not been acquired via the collaboration of any arms dealers. Even more alarming is the fact that the suspected perpetrator had created fake websites and social media profiles using the name of the technical institute.

Throughout the course of the operation, the team from the FIA was able to seize a significant number of counterfeit technical degrees, nursing certifications, fraudulent PMDC license's, and firearm receipts from the suspect's possession.

In addition, a number of forged seals purporting to be from government agencies, embassies, education boards, notary publics, and other international organizations were found in the suspect's office.

The inquiry also discovered that the perpetrators, under the pretense of offering online admission, charged exorbitant prices to their customers.

There has been a formal complaint lodged against five individuals, one of them being the suspect, Rasheed. A representative for the FIA stated that the team is currently conducting operations in order to apprehend the other individuals involved in the crime.
